Officially Homeowners!

Hubby and I are officially homeowners now! It took forever for us to get to this point and now that it's here, we couldn't be happier. =] It's been such a long journey, and at one point I really thought that we weren't going to get the house. One thing after another kept coming up. First, we couldn't get the house, because we had a lien against us from the back child support(which I will explain in another post). So, the relocation company decided that they would pay $6000 of it.....child support would take second place on the lien.....and we thought we would qualify. Turns out that if there is a lien against you, you don't qualify for a VA Home Loan. So, child support, really wanting the $6000, they opted to take the money, remove the lien, allow us to go through with the loan, and then reapply the lien. It actually worked out amazing, because as a first time home buyer....we qualify for the $8000 tax credit, because Brandon was deployed for most of last year. Once we receive that, we're going to pay off the other $3000 or so. I'm not even sure why I worried the way that I did.....where there is a will, there is a way. My friend Robin even told me that,

"maybe this is what was supposed to happen, so that we could pay off the back
child support."

Even Brandon deploying this upcoming September is really going to help us out. We are going to be able to pay off debt....and save up! I'm pretty excited about being able to save up, because as soon as he gets back....we're going to court to try and fight for joint custody. We really want rights to see Jade and spend time with her, whenever we like.....and not have to be told that we can't. Brandi(baby's mother) is constantly changing her mind....saying we can see her and spend time with her....and then changing her mind. It's driving me nuts. I don't want to have to pay to support a child that we have no rights to. It's not fair. I love Jade and I hate what her mom is doing to her. =/ It breaks my heart. TTC & Father's Day

So, Hubby and I have been TTC since the first of June. I really hate waiting.....it's driving me nuts! I have no idea what I'm looking for. All I have been, so far, is moody. I need some hints or tips or advice or something! Hubby does not want me to even bother taking a pregnancy test for awhile, because he doesn't want it to be negative. However, I took one anyway and it came back negative....Boo!!! Oh well....we have at least another month before he leaves for deployment. =]

Hope everyone had a great Father's Day! Mine was eventful....we went out to Thunderbird Falls and hiked out to the waterfall. I LOVED IT!!! Our dogs loved it, too. I will definitely post up some pictures later. =]

My real father was never really a part of my life...and today he texted me telling him to, "wish my old man a happy father's day." Forgive me if I don't feel like you deserve it. Anyone can be a father....it takes someone special to be a dad.
